FURNACE & AC TUNE-UP & PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Per manufacturer’s recommendations, furnace tune-ups should be done annually (prior to heating season) in order to ensure proper and safe operation of your furnace. In most cases, annual tune-ups validate manufacturer’s warranties up to 10 years (for parts) if it’s properly serviced.
At DAVESDUCTS, if we install your furnace – in order to validate our complimentary 10 year labour warranty, we require proof of annual maintenance.

FURNACE CLEANING
Our advanced cleaning methods could help reduce your energy costs and improve the performance of your entire heating and cooling system. As a NADCA certified duct cleaner, we are responsible for cleaning everything the air stream touches.
The two major components are the furnace blower and the AC Coils. When impacted with dirt or debris, your system will run inefficiently and could lead to degraded performance. The proper way to clean a furnace blower is to ensure you are able to access the blower blades properly. The proper way to clean an AC coil is to ensure there is access to the top and bottom of the coil.
Two ways to clean an AC coil:
- Dry cleaning – contact cleaning with a vacuum with soft bristles
- Wet cleaning – use of a natural self-rinsing evaporator coil cleaning solution
And finally, making sure the condensate drain pan is clear of debris and drains properly.
Upon our FREE inspection of the FURNACE BLOWER & the AC COILS, should they be dirty our rate to clean them is:

- Furnace Blower Cleaning is $69 + HST (approx. 40-60 mins to clean)
- AC Coil Cleaning is $59 + HST (approx. 30-40 mins to clean)
NOTE: if you have a maintenance plan, check with your service provider if the cleaning of these components is included, if it is – please ensure your service provider cleans these components, immediately after our service is performed
